If you’re looking for a new way to discover house plans and learn more about building your own home, check out The House Designers’ YouTube Channel. We use videos to offer house tours, show customer building documentaries, and provide helpful information for those thinking about or planning to build their own homes. We post regularly, so be sure to subscribe if you’d like to stay up-to-date! Here’s a basic breakdown of what you’ll find on our channel.
When we get gorgeous photography, we want to share it! And if you would prefer a guided experience to clicking through an image viewer, you'll love our house tours. Let us show you the key points and spaces in a way that makes sense—we can save you from looking between the floor plans and pictures to see how everything relates, and you'll get a better feel for the house as a result.
We feature as many sizes and styles as we can, so you might just stumble upon a design that suits your needs. Even if you don't, but you like what you see, our house plan specialists may be able to find something similar among our collection. Don't be afraid to ask for assistance—they know our house plans better than anybody, and we might not have enough photography of your dream home to show it well in a video yet.
Perhaps you're wondering what building your own home will be like? That's why we produce customer documentaries! Our customers choose all sorts of house plans, and they finish them in all sorts of ways. Depending on the design and the location of each build, you can learn about the various stages of construction and decisions you'll have to make as well—such as the right type of foundation for the conditions, well vs. city water, and exterior products that are suitable for the climate.
