Tammy Crosby brings more than two decades of architectural and e-commerce experience to The House Designers. Serving as CEO and Managing Partner, she has brought together the most celebrated and awarded residential architects and designers from the US and Canada to offer the highest quality house plans available on a digital platform. Tammy has been instrumental in developing long-standing house plan partnerships as well as developing and designing a variety of exclusive, best-selling house plan collections. Tammy began her career in architecture as the Executive Director of The American Institute of Building Design, where she was influential in housing and urban development legislation, creating design certification programs to advance the standards and principles for residential design, and forming a publishing relationship with Time Warner to co-publish design focused books and magazines.
Rachel Lyon is The House Designers’ Editorial Director who introduces innovative products and building tips through a variety of e-publications to consumers and builders. Focusing on sustainability and health, Rachel believes that green building makes a positive impact on the world with every environmentally conscientious choice a household makes. Rachel has written hundreds of articles for The House Designers and partner sites covering an array of design and pre- to post-construction topics. In addition, she has a hand in producing content across other platforms including newsletters, blogs, and YouTube. Rachel holds a BA in biology and religion from Boston University.
Christine has been helping customers find and build their dream homes for over seven years at The House Designers. Her passion and knowledge of the home building industry allows Christine to guide families and builders through all of the important steps from finding plans to building custom homes that meet the expectations of today’s new home owner. Christine’s knowledge of The House Designers’ diverse and ever-growing collection of home designs enables her to quickly find the perfect house plan to meet the needs and budget of just about any customer.
Amanda Matherly is a seasoned home plan and interior decorating aficionado who leads the team of Home Plan Advisors at The House Designers. After spending over a decade working in the busy Texas real estate market and building a house of her own, Amanda knows exactly what today’s homeowners want and expect in a new home. Amanda has a unique ability to connect and fully understand each and every customer’s specific set of needs which has helped hundreds of gratified new homeowners throughout the country find the perfect house plan and build their dream home.
After graduating from the University of Massachusetts, Erin obtained her real estate license. She enjoys all facets of the architecture industry and has a special eye for interiors and current design trends. Erin currently melds her love for real estate as a part-time real estate photographer and stager and serves as a Home Plan Advisor for The House Designers. Her favorite architectural styles include historical New England colonials, like saltbox and Cape Cod homes, as well as contemporary homes with as much glass as possible. Erin naturally builds trust with her clients by helping families navigate through the design and planning stages and all the way to ground breaking and moving in.
