The design of this Country French estate captures its romance and ambiance with its verandas, grand entry and unique balconies as if it was built in the countryside of France.
I used European country influences to welcome guests as they step through the raised foyer to the formal living and dining rooms, both with creative ceiling treatments.
To the immediate right is the den/library with its unique step up to the bookshelves. I included a private garden for those who enjoy balmy days and a good book. This room can also be transformed into a home office, convenient for late nights at the computer.
Through the living room, I designed a colonnade of arches that precedes the entrance to the master retreat. The master retreat was designed to give the owners of this home an area they could seclude themselves in. Complete with tray ceilings, a sunken sitting area, and a see thru fireplace, patio access and a spectacular master bath, this truly is a Masters retreat.
Special features I included in this design are a step-down wine cellar, separate guest room, an exercise room that can easily be converted into a game/media room or simply extra storage space, and a unique patio that displays an elegant pool and Bar-B-Que pit with its own fireplace.
