I purchased this house plan for our personal home build in Idaho. I had never built a home before...it's not rocket science right?! With that said, I decided to have the plans reverse readable, and the house plans were detailed, easy to read and to put it bluntly, perfect. The County where we built required an engineer stamp prior to approval, and the plans made it through with a few callouts to have implemented. The House Designers works with quality architects and the floor plans will be something you and your builder will appreciate. (One recommendation: when the engineers get the plans, tell them that if they are going to require sheer wall bolts, to put a callout on them that says "In the vicinity of", or "evenly spaced along this wall". Reason behind this, your concrete contractor will put the sheer bolts exactly where the engineer says, unless there is a callout. Comes down to liability. In our case, the sheer bolts were put in a couple spots that required window size modifications.) I do not plan on building another home in my lifetime, but if I did, I would use The House Designers.

As a Software Engineering, I am so impressed by the accuracy of the plan. I ran with the plan without any professional builder and we got the exact structure as detailed, from footing, foundation and floor plan. Excellent work guys. How many years has the architecture been practicing to get such faultless details? I actually plan to work with the house designers going forward.
