A smart, new, bright and cheerful kitchen, with a much more con-nected relationship to the adjoining family room, is the result of this trim 14'-8"x 7'-4" rear addition. Even the dining room gains a few feet in length, but the main beneficiary is the kitchen, which now includes some bulk storage, in the form of a pantry, and a serving buffet to the dining room. A stylish, angled, snack counter now separates the kitchen and family room, and an equally stylish half-round window is the focal point of the new rear wall. Skylites could be added to the kitchen addition if desired.
