House Plan 3820: CONTEMPRA

This very modest home is focused on incorporating passive solar features for maximum enrgy efficiency. Plans allow you to connect a garage in different ways thereby permitting the home to be properly oriented to the sun on any lot. The great room is the intended sunny space; a trellis shades a beautiful window wall to eliminate strong summer sun, while permitting lower winter sun to penetrate. The rear interior wall of the great room is a masonry "trombe wall", which will store heat. The home could be built without any grage or with a one or two car garage.

Reproducible Vellum Set
Although most changes can be made directly on the blueprints by "red-lining", if the proposed changes are significant, i.e.large additions, structural changes, major roofline or facade changes, this set may be used to make changes via a local professional, or your builder. Although the PDF Construction Set can accomplish the same purpose, some may prefer to make changes by hand drawing, which the Reproducible is suited for. After changes are made you may print up to 10 sets, for the construction of one home only. An online license will be completed during checkout.
