House Plan 2649: Newfields

Transitional design appeals on many levels. Its traditional elements lend a sense of permanence and classic beauty, while its more contemporary components bring clean uncluttered lines to the picture. With a floor plan that is as livable as its exterior is dynamic, this plan has it all. Begin with the three-car garage, shielding the plan from street traffic at the front of the plan. It opens at a service entrance to the house, with a half-bath on the left, laundry room behind and coat closet nearby. The family room, nook and kitchen combine for a spacious casual gathering space, warmed by a fireplace. The formal living room is also brightened by a hearth and is next to the formal dining room. The den, at the front of the plan, has built-in shelves and a closet.

Bedrooms are on the upper level and consist of a master suite and two family bedrooms. The master bath is spectacular with spa tub, dual sinks and separate shower. Family bedrooms share a full bath.
