Despite all the gloomy news about the economy coming from the White House, our house plan sales continue to increase. I spoke with a customer the other day, who had put off purchasing a house plan for over a year, because she was concerned with the cost to build. She contemplated selling her land and just buying an existing home, but her dream was always to build a home that had everything she wanted.
We talked about how she had contacted several architects and designers to draw her house plan and that she was giving prices that averaged around $10,000. She decided to google stock house plans and found The House Designers. After spending several days searching through our many collections she found the Mirabel. She could not believe that it would only cost her $1350 and that the blueprints included everything she needed to build her new home.
The home had every feature she was looking for: gourmet kitchen with a large center island, master suite and bath with sitting area, open living room with fireplace, a covered lanai and recreation room. I told her we would be happy to make any modifications she needed, but she told me that would not be necessary and ordered the house plan.
