I had a great conversation with a client this week that is planning on building a home on a ski resort in Utah. It was the first time I had pulled up our Hot Springs Cottage House Plan from one our newest collections. There was something about this home design with its beautiful stone façade and unique roofline. My favorite part was the private master suite with a lovely covered porch off of it.
I was picturing myself sitting on the covered porch, while having a cup of coffee and looking out to the beautiful ski area. The client was telling me how he had been waiting to build a home like this. It is a great feeling when you know you are helping people build their dream home. People have all kinds of interesting questions from how high is the roof pitch to modifying the floor plan to their special needs. For me it is a job I can’t wait to go. It is not always about a house on a ski resort or a luxury floor plan, sometimes it’s simply about a garage plan. But it is always fun.
