House Plans for the Building Boom in Texas

Our collection has amazing blueprints for every location, but today we're focusing on one of the places that orders the most. We serve the Lone Star State with diverse designs for up-and-coming neighborhoods as well as sprawling rural lots, and you'll find the homes Texans have chosen recently in this unique selection. As a bonus, the plans featured here come from architects based in Texas—no wonder they've attracted attention from those also looking to put down roots in the state!
Rustic Charm Meets Contemporary Elegance

House Plan 9227 has a new video to help you appreciate its interior design—make sure not to miss it! This grand transitional ranch offers 2,390 square feet, four bedrooms, and three-and-a-half bathrooms in a split-bedroom layout that gives the luxe primary suite privacy on one side of the house. On the other, there's a smaller private suite for guests and a pair of Jack-and-Jill bedrooms for the kids. But the center of the floor plan is what impresses buyers—the voluminous vaulted living space with live dormers is bright and modern, and the spacious island kitchen includes a massive walk-in pantry!
Dramatic Living with Built-In Flexibility

With chic hipped rooflines and an updated Mediterranean design, House Plan 8452 is made for the Sun Belt! Inside, you'll find 3,621 square feet across one level, with four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, and more. Beside the foyer, there's a flex room that you could make an office, study space, or formal living room. The great room farther inside is totally open concept and has a cathedral vaulted ceiling that spans the whole room, from the fireplace to the island kitchen. The primary suite off the kitchen has a pyramid vaulted ceiling in the bedroom, a large five-piece bath, and a walk-in closet with direct access to the laundry room. Off the living area, two bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill bath—with private powder room accommodations!—while the third is beside a hall bath. But that's not all—a game room in back expands the possibilities!
