With the close of National Kitchen and Bath Month, we wanted to take a look at the current design trends in the industry. Here are the top five trends in the kitchen and bath industry.<\/p>\n

1.Monochrome Basics<\/strong><\/p>\n

Simple, sleek, and classic are three words to describe the monochrome trend that has been around for some time. A monochromatic color scheme is a timeless look that isn\u2019t going anywhere in 2014. Add a dash of natural wood or a colorful backsplash to add some visual interest to a monochromatic design and give the room an inviting appeal.<\/p>\n

Cabinets will always be needed in the kitchen but open shelves are a growing design trend. Open shelves are a great way to display your eye-catching kitchen accessory and crockery. While you may not see a lot of open shelves now a lot of designers and manufacturers have started incorporating open shelving into their 2014 kitchen designs.<\/p>\n
