Last month, we attended the 13th<\/sup> Annual Architectural Digest Home Design Show in New York City and we are proud to say that it has been a hit. \u00a0The show featured a wide array of luxury products and cutting-edge designs from close to 400 brands and drawing a crowd of over 40,000 attendees from across the globe.<\/p>\n

This show allowed it\u2019s attendees to find a vast array of distinct products for their home with everything from new contemporary hardware, to distinct lighting solutions<\/a>, and building materials. Attendees were also able to attend seminars in the Jenn-Air Master Class Studio, walk a showroom of great dining room designs in DIFFA\u2019s Dining By Design<\/a> collection, and visit the \u00a0Shops at ADHDS (their new cash-and-carry curation), and visit the first ever outdoor pavilion.<\/p>\n

The 13th Annual Architectural Digest Home Design Show was a carefully curated exhibit that brought together established and new vendors with lots of potential clients.<\/figcaption><\/figure>

\nGiulio\u00a0Capua,\u00a0vice\u00a0president\u00a0and\u00a0publisher,\u00a0Architectural Digest<\/i> credits the show\u2019s wide range of offerings\u00a0for\u00a0helping\u00a0to\u00a0set\u00a0the\u00a0tone\u00a0for\u00a0a\u00a0successful\u00a0weekend.\u00a0\u201cWe\u2019ve continued to innovate the show experience and programming by creating a showcase in step with industry trends<\/a>. This year attendees experienced a wealth of great design \u2013 from one-of-a-kind artisan pieces to new product launches from top manufacturers and designs studios to important technologies leading the smart home revolution<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Exhibitors took notice of the increased attendance and reported high traffic and quality interaction with the show\u2019s attendees leading to new business opportunities, exposure, and mutually beneficial exchanges. \u00a0A 55 percent increase was reported in the number of trade and design professionals attending the show as well as a number of consumers who were renovating and building new homes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn\u00a0an\u00a0age\u00a0when\u00a0consumers are often relying on the internet to shop for home products, it is more important than ever for professional designers and architects to gather the latest design intelligence by experience in person those products they recommend to their clients,\u201d said Susan Anthony, American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) New York Metro \u201cThe Architectural Digest Home Design Show makes it easy to do just that. It is the best show for featuring luxury goods<\/a> and appliances<\/a> that in many cases are being shown to the public for the first time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Both seasoned and new exhibitors reported that the show was a great opportunity to connect with potential clients. Among the attendees were several seasoned designers, including renowned designer Campion Platt.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u00a0always\u00a0 enjoy\u00a0 the\u00a0 Architectural\u00a0 Digest\u00a0 Home\u00a0 Design\u00a0 Show\u00a0 it’s\u00a0 the\u00a0 best\u00a0 of\u00a0 the\u00a0 best,\u201d\u00a0 said renowned designers Campion Platt. \u201cThis year I was struck by the amount of bespoke offerings and customization.\u00a0 I find this to be a real trend in our niche world of high design that has extended beyond simply finding the best fabric for a room.\u201d<\/p>\n

One thing is for sure, the energy level at the 13th<\/sup> Annual Architectural Digest Home Design show was extremely high.
