She had been trying to talk her husband into moving for over two years, but couldn&#8217;t come up with a floor plan that they both could agree on. She needed to keep the square footage under 1,800 square feet and needed a home plan that included an optional <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehousedesigners.com\/bonus-room-house-plans\/\">bonus room<\/a> they could build out later and a split bedroom design with a basement. I gave her several house plans to look at but when she saw The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehousedesigners.com\/plan\/the-madison-8449\/\">Madison House Plan<\/a>, she knew that was going to be the plan to get her husband to finally move out of their 1978 Cape.
