Jannis Vann is the President and principle designer of Jannis Vann and Associates, Inc. in Woodstock, Georgia. 2007 marks her 25th year in business. She has been active in organizations such as The American Institute of Building Design & the Home Plan Marketing Association where she has worked to improve the standards for quality home design and especially the pre-designed home plans industry. She is also a member of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Classical America where she completed the first class offered by the organization outside of New York in field of classical architecture through a joint venture with AIBD.

Her designs are well received because of her economical balance of material costs with the type of features you desire. For example, her collection features traditional, country and European exteriors with contemporary open flowing interiors. Luxury master suites are in all of her plans, regardless of their square footage. From simple country cottages and traditional concepts to challenging Narrow Lot and Hillside designs, Jannis has created something for almost everyone. 

Over the past 25 years, Jannis has received recognition as the first featured home designer in Better Homes and Gardens "Home Plan Ideas". She has won numerous awards from the American Institute of Building Design annual national design competition along with awards at the regional level from AIBD and NAHB. In 1997 she was awarded the AIBD's coveted "Designer of the Year" award and in 1996 she was the first woman in 20 years to be elected to the AIBD's highest honor, the College of Fellows.
