1. Color Life by Benjamin Moore

Color Life from Benjamin Moore® is an online magazine available on iPad® and Android®. The magazine puts design tips, inspiration, and color selection at your fingertips. The Color Life e-zine takes you take interactive colors tours, test out color ideas, and explore 3,000 different Benjamin Moore® colors with a swipe.

2. Sherwin-Williams® ColorSnap®

The ColorSnap® app from Sherwin-Williams® is an app that makes the process of identifying the colors you see every day a little easier. Take a photo of a color that inspires you and the ColorSnap® app will match it to one of 1,500 colors in its database. You can even create custom color palettes based on the colors that inspire you. ColorSnap®  is available for iPhone®, Android®, and Blackberry®.

3. Benjamin Moore’s® Color Capture®

Color Capture® is an iPhone® and Android® app that lets you snap a photo of anything that inspires you and matches it to one of 3,500 Benjamin Moore® colors with ease.

4. Valspar® Paint Visualizer

The Valspar® Paint Visualizer  helps you to visualize how a color will look in your space before you touch a brush to the wall. You can use your own photo or one of many stock interior or exterior spaces in the library and then browse the selection of Valspar® colors to pick your favorite. When you are done, you can even save your project to come back to it later.

5. ColorSmart by BEHR®

ColorSmart by Behr

BEHR’s® ColorSmart app lets you take a photo of a room and then paint it with the tap of your finger. You can preview, match, and coordinate colors on the go, save images, and post your projects to Twitter or Facebook. Once you are done and have found your perfect paint color, the app helps you find the nearest Home Depot to purchase your paint. ColorSmart is available on iPhone®, iPad®, and Android® devices.

6. Sherwin-Williams® Color Visualizer

Sherwin Williams Color Visualizer

The Color Visualizer is a desktop application from Sherwin-Williams® lets you experiment with a paint palette by dragging and dropping the color. You can even use the toolbox to refine your edges, paint trim, and do touch-ups. When you are done, you can print out all the color info you need and take it to your local Sherwin-Williams® paint store. They even include a coupon to get you started.

7. Valspar® Project Paint

Valspar® also lets you manage your project from anywhere with the Project Paint app. Avoid making multiple trips to paint store by calculating how much paint you’ll need, customizing a shopping list, and emailing your choices to yourself as a record to take to the store. The app is available on iPhone®, Android®, and Blackberry®.
